A computer virus attempted to collect my Credit Card information by posing as a Virus Protection software that was installed via a PDF file from a site I was browsing. Luckily, I wasn’t about to be outsmarted by a novice hacker and his pesky toys. Need less to say, the attack failed and my computer is back to normal. ********************************* ********************************* IMPORTANT NOTE: It’s come to my attention that this software will replicate itself after you restart your …

My friend juts got this yestarday. Deleting the file doesn’t help. It comes back the next day. No antivirus detects it yet.. sadly.
You’re right. The software showed back up after I restarted my computer. This time I couldn’t delete it or even access the Task Manager. I was forced to run a System Recovery because I could not even access the System Restore. Because I did a System Recovery, I lost all my files and even my internet connection. Now I’m back to square one as if I just bought the computer. ~_~ *Sad face* I’m just glad I got rid of that thing.
I got this fake thing on the 9th of october ;l
2009 too
I used house call to fix it at least it doesnt download itself onto your computer
omg! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
i did everything you said, and it worked perfectly! thank you!!!!
You’re welcome.
Be sure to read the more info section, if you haven’t already, for an important note on getting rid of Security Tool permanently.
could you help me out to remove this ?
See the “more info” section. The only sure way is to reboot in Safe Mode and run a System Restore to a date before you got the software.
If you have no other option than to run a “System Recovery” using F10 during start up, then you might want to back up all your files online or on a flash drive because you’ll lose them all.
omfg it still wont go away!!!!!!! so frusrtarating
NOTE -
U can right click were it says Start , and shows the time and press “Show the desktop”

this is happening to my computer right now.. and i cant press crtl alt delete..
can you plzzzz tell me how to find the path it keeps saying evrything is infected and it wont let me access user acounts or add or remove programs plzzzzzzzzz help me.
1. Open up your start menu
2. Open up “my computer”
3. Go to “HP_Pavilion (C:)
4. Go to “documents and settings”
5. Open “All users”
6. Open “Application Data”
IF you cant find this folder then its probably hidden (by default)
To view it juts go to
“tools”
“folder options”
“view”
Scroll down to “Show hidden files and folders” and disable it.
7. now open “Application Data”
8. Look for a random ass 8 digit number.
9. Open up the 8 digit number file
10.Rename the file to anything you want.
11.Reboot your system
You shouldnt have much problems now but just go back to the 8 digit number file and delete it. YOU CANT DELETE IT UNLESS YOU RENAME IT. if you try to delete before this it just tells you “error-illegal operation. you cant close program while its running” or some thing like that.
ty for the help.
